Project meeting in Turkey - october 2012

 First Project Meeting in Turkey
 -integrating project activities into school plan -elaborating plan activities for each class;
-Presentation of the project.
-Presenting an exhibition about potteries made by Turkish Pupils.
-deciding the content and extend of the appired questionnaire.
-deciding the logo of  the project.

  MOBİLİTY İN TURKEY

Mobility in Turkey took place from 5^th November to 10^th November 2012 in Gebze.

On the first day, the all participants meet each other at the welcome dinner. The traditional drinks and foods was offered. The traditional music and dance was showed by the Turkish Team.

Tuesday, meeting was held at the hotel. Presentations was made by all participants. They presented their countries, cities, schools and methods they used in their schools. Decided to Project logo, poster and questionnaire. Discussed about web page, Project book, Project cd contents. Decided to dates of next mobilities.

Wednesday, all participants exhibited their cultural and traditional products on their stands. They made presents about their country and schools for the families and teachers of Gebze Special Education Center. They observed and discussed the education methods and materials with the teachers while visiting the classrooms. The making potery demonstration was made and some of participants tried it. The trip to İstanbul Asian Part for the cultural activities was organized.

Thursday, visited to a private school for the special needs, a public primary school, a different public school for the special needs, Gebze Directorate of National Education and Diagnostic Center for the special needs. The participants got more information about the education system of Turkey. Visited to Turkish Bath as a cultural activity.

Friday, visited the natural and historical places in İstanbul. The Certificate Ceramony was made at the farewell dinner.

We aimed to introduce our culture on all the trips to natural and historical places and dinners.  It ‘s also aimed to let them introduce their own culture on the comenius corners ,where traditional things are shown, and the presentation of their  own country.

By the visits to special education schools ,provincial directorate of national

education and formal education schools it’s aimed to inform them about the education in our country and let them make a comparison between ours and theirs.
